ABOUT
ME
Hi there! I'm Amanda - an actor, singer, director, teacher, pianist, and mom. Truth be told, I also make an extraordinary apple pie... (Seriously. It's all about Grandma's pastry. We'll talk.)

I just emerged from a whirlwind semester of directing two fantastic productions - first an Evening of Opera and Shakespeare scenes, and then the delightful musical She Loves Me! I also shot another wonderful short film last month and kept busy with acting classes. I have my next series of classes coming up next month with the incredible David Vaccari!

In the last several months I shot another really interesting short film in NJ, in a role that was so challenging and fulfilling. And before that, in the summer, I had the privilege of playing Joanne in Jack Heifner's marvelous play Vanities at Bristol Valley Theatre. And before that, I had a busy several months - seven other short films around upstate NY and Toronto, and of course living the dream of playing Elizabeth Bennet in the wonderful play Pride@Prejudice. It's been busy and wonderful!

I love to perform. I made my off-Broadway debut in February 2020 as Mrs. Patrick in A Man of No Importance with Bookworm Theatrics at the Alvin Ailey Theatre in Manhattan. In 2022, I filmed lead roles in a feature film, Through Eyes of Grace (releasing in 2023) and in two short films: Lambkin and Dear Hallmark. Earlier that year I appeared in two episodes of true-crime series for the ID Network: Evil Lives Here: Shadows of Death and On the Case with Paula Zahn. Some favorite stage roles include Marmee in Little Women at Bristol Valley Theater, Cathy in The Last Five Years with the Palmer Opera House, Guenevere in Camelot and Jess in The Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged) with Bookworm Theatrics, Amalia in She Loves Me and M’Lynn in Steel Magnolias with The Valley Theatre, and Cinderella in Into the Woods and Maria in The Sound of Music with The Town Theatre of Short Tract.

I keep a busy schedule of acting, directing and teaching, and I am so thankful for each opportunity to create and collaborate with kind and talented humans!
